The reason your door won’t stay open is probably that the door frame, or the wall it’s attached to, was installed slightly out of plumb. while there’s no easy fix for the framing, there are a couple of ways to keep the door where you want it.. Re: high spot in blacktop - can't get shed door open don't think that letting the air of the tires will help at all. the way i read it was that the bottom edge of the door was hitting the highspot on the asphalt, thus preventing the door from opening completely.. There is another possability if your door is in full sunlight the door has proberly expanded .this will jam the meckinisum to get over this problom take off hing covers and wind in hinge ajusters the door should then open once open reajust door so that it opens and shuts general house maintenance. If you can see the door hinges, you can open the door. place a large flat head screwdriver at the top of the hinge, just under the large pin head that holds it in place. use a hammer to tap up the.
